The starter fit perfectly I did have to change the position of the plastic guard for the positive wire it was at 6 o'clock and needed to be at 3 o'clock so the wire would fit correctly other than that it was a perfect fit and works great.

The overnight shipping was fantastic. Fit and operated fine. I was disappointed the relay was not in the box. The starter was poorly packed and packaged and taped haphazardly with Amazon tape which left part of the box open. I assume the relay is rolling around on the floor of the car the package was delivered in. They must hove really had to hurry to get it out the door. I do appreciate the prompt delivery.

I got this starter to replace the 15 year old original starter on my '08 Honda 500 Rubicon. Visual appearance, weight, and fit on the machine all were about what you might expect for a non OEM replacement part - all very close but not quite as good as the factory part. So recognizing not quite as nice and wasn't as expensive, I did have realistic expectations that it probably would not last 15 years like the factory starter. If it would have lasted 5 years I would have been happy - 5 months though. I use the ATV it went on about one day a week... so 20 weeks x 10ish starts per week.. I got 200ish starts out of this starter before one of the permanent magnets broke/came loose/failed. I've had motors were a magnet pops loose, a little JB weld and a day later your back up and running. The magnet needs to be relatively intact to make that repair though. The magnet in this starter motor disintegrated. When it failed it completely destroyed the entire starter. This starter = 5 months of use, 200ish starts and then catastrophic failure.

I installed this on a 2013 Honda rancher it was the correct part I didn’t need the solenoid I found out but it looks like it was basically the same price with the solenoid and without it so I figured what the heck you have to remove the airbox to get at the starter so that’s really the only difficult part of the installation besides the airbox you have to remove two bolts holding a starter to the engine and the positive and negative leads on the starter I would put a little grease on the O-ring of the starter that goes into the engine so it slides in easier it works fine and I am happy with it for the price
