Like BC, I have also tried several other methods of trimming banding and none of them worked, all of them eventually dove into the wood. Sometimes they even tore the surface that wasn't banding, ruining the piece past removing and re-applying the banding. This, however, can't gouge because it doesn't cut in that direction to begin with.I find that it works best if I do two (or more) cuts, pressing lightly on the thumb rest instead of a death grip.The only problem it has is that sometimes a little of the not-melt glue will smear/stick to the blade-which is not much of a problem, more cosmetic on the tool than real.

フィルム施工での曲線切りが抜群。カッターではできない仕上がり。直線は他の製品の方がいいと思う。少し使いづらいかも。

So far, of all the veneer edge banding trimmers I've tried (fast cap, virtex, razor blade, file) this is the only one that actually consistently works. You'll still need something to get into tight corners if you're applying on already assembled cabinets, but that's reasonably easy with a file or the side of a chisel.

今までカッターの刃を木材に刺して切っていましたが、たまに木の繊維に沿って裂けてしまったりしてました。コレは挟み込んて切ってくれるのでそのリスクが減少します。今後も使い続けます。

家具屋をやってます。小口の突板テープのカットに使いますが、仕事は早いのですが、綺麗に仕上がらないことが多いのが残念です。やっぱりカッターか鉋が良いかと思います。
