This has 2 main parts. The big part is the clamp, arms, all of that. The second part is the silver disc that screws onto the top that differentiates this to make it "for starlink"I don't have Starlink but I do have a plethora of magnets, flashlights, etc. that all use the same threading as the starlink mount disc. Using those mounts and easily swapping them out by a few turns of your hand makes this very versatile. I can mount my phone by attaching a magsafe attachment to it or mount a lantern to it that uses the same threading to hang a light in a work area or around a camp. This clamp is regularly sold with all types of different adapters so it's not like it's not made for it.

Very lightweight little mount with an easy-to-set-up manner.The height is rather low, giving about 8.5-inches in total rise, which is alright, especially considering the clamp-style mounting. The knob (for tightening and holding the arm in position) feels pretty robust, and doesn't feel like it'll break under normal use.Overall, a really nice temporary mount for travel, and it seems pretty secure when clamped.It folds up neatly for storage, and the included 1/4-20 adapter is a nice touch as well.

No matter how we tightened, support was insufficient to hold mini starlink. Returning!
