It is sturdy and a good quality for the low price that I paid, but it’s very big and will look awkward in my collection, plus, it doesn’t look very Christmas-like other than the thin red band at the bottom so I will add a Santa hat to make it look more Christmas-like as I have thrown out the box and cannot return it.

I was so excited to get this for my Mom. The craftsmanship was horrible. The wooden base was made of rough, dinged up wood. The glue was stringing off of the clothes, there were tuffs of the fluffy material that were hanging off. He looks so cute online but DO NOT TRUST THE PICTURE. This was a horribly made product, especially for the price. I have purchased better made nutcrackers at the Dollar Tree. I couldn't believe how poorly made this was. Quality control must not exist for this product. SAVE YOUR MONEY and the time it will take for you to return it.

Kurt Adler The Child nutcracker is cute. This is not a Steinbach. Mine came with a small chip in one eye and it looks like someone spilled a brown drink on top of his head. His "coat" is a light olive green not brown. I think he is made from pressed wood he is not high quality. Overall he is okay and good for my collection but I really wanted to like him more because he is Baby Yoda. If you collect baby yoda then this is good for your collection.Not worth the money should be slightly cheaper.

Received today in bad condition.1. Cracked 3/4" crack in the back at the base and goes all the way up to the nutcracker handle on the back.2. Black paint on left eye is chipped and is white now.3. Hot glue found all over the figure.4. Paint is smeared on the forehead and shows a partial fingerprint in the paint.5. Its not painted fully on the seams where the parts are assembled.I bought this for my mom who collects nutcrackers as a gift and am very disappointed in quality and will never buy from this company again. I also do not recommend this company.

Bought this for a really good friend of mine who is virtually blind. This made her day since she could see the details in the nutcracker. Great piece to add to your collection. Just Adler makes some of the greatest pieces.
