Product worked exactly as described, followed the directions, placed the item inside my boat cabin and in a matter of a few hours eliminated the 20+ year old mildew smell from the boat cabin! A+++

Doesn’t really give much cover to smells, and doesn’t mask much either. I have several items working simultaneously and nothing is truly effective yet. Boats are tough.

after vacuum and high pressure air to remove the debris. I tried a commercial steamer, then bleach, peroxide, antibacterial spray, febreeze and a few other things. After running about 2 gallons of steam through, I gave up and ordered the chlorine bomb. Initially got rid of mouse pee smell in used truck i bought. It came back in a couple of days, but has since gone away again almost entirely, so will need another treatment. The smell seems to be in the headliner and seats mostly, so need to shampoo those.

After looking at the packaging, the boat and automobile version of this product is basically the same so I got this one because it was the best deal.I had a faint smoke smell that just wouldn’t go away so I decided to try this out.I allowed a full 4 hours and then quickly opened up the truck started the AC and ran for 5 minutes. After opening the windows for a hour ,the next day there was only a slight chlorine smell.I used some fragrance spray on the carpets and the next day after that all I get is a nice clean car smell.I tried the fogger method with the spray can before and that doesn’t get rid of smell just covered it up.This definitely kills off the odor.

Yes it leaves a strong "bleachy" aroma for a while after use but if aired out appropriately is not horrible and it dissipates in a day or so.I "enjoyed" one cigar in my new truck and it drew complaints from my family. This seemed to do the trick.

My car developed a mildew smell a few weeks ago. Somehow I had a fair amount of water in the spare tile well in the hatch of the vehicle. I cleaned the water out and dried the area. However the mildew smell would not go away. I did a air conditioning evap treatment as well as pulled down the headliner and checked the carpet to make sure water wasn't anywhere else. Everything was dry. My conclusion was the mildew smell must be embedded in the fabric of the car. I bought the "car bomb" treatment first and let it go for around 12 hours. The smell went away for about 3 days. I thought maybe if I hit it again with another treatment it woudl do the trick. I found the boat treatment was cheaper so I gave it a shot this time letting it sit for 24 hours. The smell came back within a day. So for me the product did not work and I would not recommend it.
