It is much larger than I expected. Looks bigger than 2 inches, but is made really well, and I will get a lot of use out of it.

Of all the 3-ring binders I’ve used, Staple’s Better Binders are my favorite. They are heavy duty, lie open flat, have D rings which hold paper better than round rings, and come in nice colors. (I had to order this because the Staples near me didn’t have the color and size I wanted.)

For of all, this says it holds upto 540 pages. Having bought a 1500+ loose leaf textbook for college, I originally went for a 3 inch binder (same brand) and its been durable, but there was too much extra room and it made Flipping the thin pages hard.So I bought the 2 inch and I am so happy with it! It holds all 1500+ pages nicely. It isn't stuffed and the pages flip smoothly without tearing. Granted, these are textbook pages, so they are thinner than loose-leaf paper.... BUT 1500+ PAGES!!I am super pleased with this binder, and if I need anymore, I will be buying more of them.The 3 inch binder has been in use for a couple of months, and even a 1 inch gap between the front flap and the text, it has held up extremely well.

My 12 year old son is so hard on his school supplies. By the end of the year he’s gone thru 2 binders and his Jansport backpacks are falling apart, I don’t know how he’s so destructive. But these binders are by far my favorite! They are the best most durable binders I’ve ever come across. I’ve had a 1” that’s lasted me at least 5+ years and still going strong and in like new shape with regular use. I just ordered (a couple months ago) 3 of the 2” binders for all our farm needs and as the farm grows I’ll be ordering more. I love how sturdy and flexible they are and continue to be despite the amount of use and bending they get. The rings are sturdy and stay lined up, whereas other brands these rings misalign with use. I like that the ring opening tab is only on one end and it too is designed well.One thing I noticed was of the recent three I ordered, ones ring opening tab was small and out of the way and very convenient, where the other two I ordered had larger tabs that were more in the way but still designed well and sturdy. Personally I like the smaller tab but others may like the larger tab more. I really like that these tabs have the plastic cover on them. In fact there’s nothing in the binders design that is able to snag or be sharp. Even the long edges of the front and back covers are rubbery.These are by far my favorite binders out there and will continue to be. There are no others out there that I’ve found that compare to the quality, durability and flexibility of these ones. Thank you for making the best and keeping them at a reasonably comparable price.
