Slightly different weight balance than most, but a good standard butter knife. Get them if you like the look.

Personal feelings aside, these are sturdy, pleasant looking knives.They are described as 'dinner knives' and 'butter knives' in the same description.As butter knives, they are perfectly fine. Although with the size of the head, the buttering would be best suited for rolls, etc.As for dinner knives, they are not very sharp. Cutting fish or soft foods would be best. Not so good for steaks, which are pictured.Steak knives have full serration, where butter knives are one-sided generally.Also, due to the size of the head, the cutting process is tedious.My pics show 3 knives. Left to right...Stapava-Regular butter knife-True dinner knife.Pic 1...Stapava- small head and serration on one side.Butter knife-normal 1/2 to 1/2 size with serration on one side.Dinner knife-normal size (hefty handle) with serration (both sides)Pic 2...Stapava-no serrationButter knife-no serrationDinner knife-serration (actually my favorite knives but seem to be disappearing :-(They are lovely knives. Stainless steel and smooth feel. Easy care.However, I honestly do not care for the longer handle with a smaller head. It just doesn't work for me.

I really like the unique design of these table knives. They fit my preferences in a knife. The picture isn't that great because I just chucked it down and snapped to show the unusual shape. There is a strong curve to the cutting edge of the blade. More than any table knife I've seen. I like that a lot. There are descent serrations to the edge as well. The handle is longer than most, due to the shorter, strongly curved blade. They feel good in my hand, and I was thinking they might be easier for children to use, being able to move their hand up close to the blade. I have big hands, so I'm not sure about this. Nicely polished and minimalist style.

This is listed as both a dinner knife and as a butter knife but I'm confused as to how they are to be used. The handle is polished with just a simple design where the handle meets the blade. These knives are solid, weighted, and balanced with sharp teeth for cutting meat, vegetables, etc. The teeth of the knife are on the right side of the blade and you can barely feel any serration if you run your finger along the bottom edge. As a right handed person, I hold the food with a fork in my left hand as I cut the food with the knife in my right hand but there is no serration on the left side of the knife.
