Disintegrated after two years. The housing completely crumbled when I attempted to loosen nuts from the embedded threaded studs.

This is what you need to get the Air intake heater on a 7.3L F series working again which makes them much easier to start than glow plugs alone. This is the front taller relay on a 7.3 passengers side of engine. I sold autoparts in the 90s and Standard has a premium product with great quality and in this case its much less than parts store or dealer cost

First off I had to "massage" the mounting studs to get this piece of junk to fit. When torquing to Ford specs every single terminal busted. Spend the extra time to find a White-Rodgers relay that actually gives you torque specs for THEIR OWN PRODUCT... unlike this piece of trash that leaves you to assume that the specs are the same as the factory.

Nice quality, better price than I found locally. Just as described.

This Air Intake Heater relay is over $80 at parts stores! Good quality part, and I got mine quicker than posted arrival date and put in on in 10 minutes. Since this little puppy seldom gets used, I decided to turn it into a cold starting aid. Normally it only turns on after engine has started and oil temp is below 135F.To use as a cold starting aid: If your truck doesn't have California emissions, remove the red and brown (coil circuit) wires, also the green wire from the load side of the relay and tape them up. The PCM doesn't care if they are unhooked, and it will not throw codes or cause Check Engine Light to come on. Run a red wire from the GPR load (going to glow plugs) side to the red terminal on the AIH, and a black (ground) wire from the AIH brown to one of the GPR mount studs. Leave the heavy gage 12v wires as is. Now the AIH will turn on and go off with the glow plugs!

why does this review say that this only works for the glow plugs when the item described is intake heater relay. The intake heater relay is much taller than the glow plug relay??? puzzled...

Great price and worked perfect. Cheaper then an OEM relay. Be aware that this will not work on the intake heater, only the glow plugs.
