I bought a used Jeep and I spent countless hours troubleshooting electrical problems. I had two of the original relays partially fail which is a real pain especially when you swap them around with good relays and unaware. It all “clicked” when my horn would work sometimes then not other times and the same with the Jeep starting and not starting (the previous owner ran a dip switch straight to the starter, which didn’t help troubleshoot someone else’s mess). This is 10 second fix on a Jeep, just pop the hood and open the PDC box. This relay is the same for several components on a Jeep so it’s nice to keep a spare.

Perfect to sell when the Amazon return policy is 30 days. This product went bad in a year, and now I'm only using oem because this can't happen again. Ugh!It's nice to be able to trust a product not to go bad when it's cold outside and you're trying to start the car...

These relays are fine. First rate. If you lubricate the female receptacle in the fuse box with CRC Cleaner/Lubricant {BLUE can} or even with a squirt of WD-40 first...then push-pull the relay carefully into place making sure all five contacts align properly...you will have absolutely no problem pulling it out again in the future if need be. A little lubrication goes a long way! The relay cover will not come off. These relays are made to go in the slotted contacts very tightly. This ensures positive electrical connection to the device being protected. They are perfect for both my 1998 Chrysler Sebring Convertible {146K mi.} & my son's 2001 Sebring sedan {225K mi.}.I used to sell Standard electrical parts for Brookdale Auto Supply in New Jersey which is now P&A/NAPA back in the 70's and purchased many myself over the years and never experienced any problems. These are just as well made or better than ever! Go get 'em...the price is right!
