My 2000 Saturn SL1 was turning the headlights on by itself when no one was in the car. After checking online I learned that this relay is the fix. Well, at first I thought so, too. I replaced it, and at first it seemed that all was well, until the problem returned. It turned out that the insulation on one of the wires running to the headlights had worn through, and was shorting out. I wrapped it electrical tape, and the problem was solved. I still have this relay standing by in case I need it in the future.

THis is a Chinese made 5 wire as are ALL of these automotive relays. Same relay, without a company name attached to it, runs about 5.00. A dealer can buy these in 100 count packs for 1.18 eachShop smart

This relay is used for may things, but I needed for a 2004 Yukon Xl. It is used as the door lock relay. If everyone is telling you that you need new door lock actuators this might be your problem. Actuators will fail one at a time, so if you have two or three not working, chances are its the power supply. My power supply was fine up to this relay but my rear two doors and the lift gate were only unlocking. Hit the lock button and felt which relay was clicking, pulled it out and popped in this new one and now it works fine. 3 months since I fixed it.
