Went to hook this relay up this morning as it is a single pole double throw specifically for isolation relay on my Firebird. Not only did it not work but now. Found out it was available locally the whole time as they sent me one from standard ignition. Now I have to go through the trouble of returning it and seeing about getting another one that does work., Good thing it’s a project car for my son and not a customer vehicle

It states that this part will not fit my 1986 Pontiac Firebird but it did. This will work for any 1982-1986 Firebird (and probably Fiero) as replacements for the two headlight actuator/motor relays located on the inner fenders next to the headlights that allow the headlights to pop up and down. Will not work for the isolation relay that controls those two relays though. If one or both of your headlight motors don’t spin at all when you flip the headlight switch these are likely what you need. 1987-1992 Firebirds use a different system to control the headlights so this likely will not work for those.
