The pollution stuff on my '79 CJ-4 w/ 304 V8 was disabled and blocked off when I purchased the vehicle.The engine was running great.When I reconnected everything properly the engine ran horribly.All of the associated parts have been inspected, tested, cleaned and either reinstalled or replaced. There has been significant engine operation improvements when each defective part has been replaced.The original 3-port vacuum switch tested bad when tested "cold" at ambient temperature and when tested after the engine was warmed up.This replacement part tested good at ambient temperature before installtion. Not also tested after installed and warmed up.This replacement part had a HUGE improvement in restoration of the engine to normal / expected performance.
