I like to know what the oil pressure is on my Chevy 350 engine. The gauge wasn't working properly so replaced the sending unit--the gauge is working normally now. On my engine the sending unit is located on the rear of the block under the distributor. Had to buy a couple of brass fittings to screw into the block and get the sending unit to both clear the distributor and give me clearance to the fire wall. (Previous owner used a 90 degree brass elbow in the block & bent the electrical tab to clear the firewall --that connection was never very secure.)

Be sure to check fitting diameter and height of distributor on your specific engine. I had to use the port near the filter.
