I replaced the switch on my 2002 F-450 7.3 diesel dump truck; installed approximately 45 days ago (mid December - February 3rd). The truck is being used for snow plowing operations, and has functioned properly. Ordering a second switch for one of our 2004 5.4L F-250's also being used for plowing. Operating eight super duties (years 2000 - 2004) F-250, F-350, F-450 & F-550 models and haven't had problems with any Standard Motor Product replacement parts for these applications. Mike C.

This switch allowed me to start my truck but throws all kinds of errors from the PCM in my truck and the overdrive light now flashes constantly and the transmission shifts bad.

This does fit the 4R100 Transmission with 20 bolts as specified but it does not read neutral so will not start in neutral, therefore will not go into 4x4 low range. Put my old one back on and truck starts in neutral and shifts into low range but won't start in park so I guess I'm caught using the new part with no low range so I can use my truck for now.
