I'm baffled by the claims that this thing fit people's 1.6 NA Miatas. I even saw one claiming it fit another 1991 like mine. Maybe the product got changed, or maybe there are multiple versions getting shipped out. I don't know, but I've tried 2 of them, and I'm telling you they don't fit. You can EITHER put the grommet in the valve cover hole, OR you can put the PCV valve in the grommet (while it's out of the hole). But if you try to do both at the same time, the grommet WILL shred. Doesn't matter how much oil you put on it.There's a much better part, Beck Arnley 039-6428, which popped right in but is still plenty tight.

Came in an Intermotor box and looked exactly like the old one that came out (but in pieces). Use a tiny bit of oil on the inside and outside to make installation a bit smoother. Installed in a 1991 Miata.

This was the most exciting tune-up item I had in my car. It was not cracked, round, and plastic! I couldn't wait to install it, and when I did; it worked!

Perfect fit for my 1999 Mazda Miata valve cover. The previous one was dry rot and cracked while being powder coated.
