It works properly most of the time. Occasionally and completely at random times, it will not perfectly seal in the closed position and engine will not run smooth and shake at idle speed. Very difficult to diagnose this symptom. Best would be to test it by activating it ON and OFF multiple times while checking for air flow between the ports, BEFORE installation on the vehicle.
