Another go at it, this time no problem with the points, they work beautifully, I think the last set I bought that was bad from the factory was just a one off problem. My '71 Dodge D100 runs really well on these contact points, I have tried other sets, but my old Dodge just spits them out in no time, these points I can get about 9 months to a year out of them. I dress them out at oil change time and reset my dwell, so they are really trouble free. Thank you Standard Motor Products for an excellent set of contact points, the quality is the best
