It is designed for seam sealing all resilient vinyl flooring products with a vinyl wear layer. A properly sealed seam will be as strong as the surface of the floor covering and will remain intact for the life of the floor. The Applicator Bottle contains a tip cleaning pin and the Versatile Sealing Tip. Intended to be used for liquid-weld seam sealing of vinyl flooring. Ergonomic design with a specially engineered tip to help apply the appropriate amount of seam sealer while completely penetrating the seam cut for all Commercial sheet flooring applications.

In getting ready to tackle a self-install of the floor in a small bathroom, I have to admit I was somewhat annoyed to find that in order to properly install the Mannington product under a door jamb, I would need to modify the locking mechanism and then use this glue/sealer to fuse the planks together. This isn’t something you’re going to find on a shelf in a hardware store, so like with most things, it was time to check Amazon. My eyes bugged out when I saw the price, especially since I only needed to glue ONE plank — after hemming and hawing for awhile, I broke down and ordered it. Happy to say it worked great. The included applicator is exactly what is needed to ensure the proper flow. So ... although pricey, it’s small potatoes compared to what I saved by installing the floor myself.

Product performed perfect. Bonded my Aduro Rigid flooring seams with little mess and any excess was easily removed with mineral spirits!
