This fixed a slightly warped door jamb which was allowing the door to open all the time. Very easy to install in less than 5 minutes. Only will work for slight warping.

It serves great its purpose. The product is generic, nothing special. I do appreciate that exact dimensions were shown, so I could use it.

My front door had trouble latching in cold weather because the gap between the door and the striker plate grew too large. These shims moved the plate closer so the door now shuts securely without effort.

The strike plate I was replacing was original to the house. It is 4 inches. The one I bought is 3 inches. I will need to order the correct size. I must have thought they were all a standard size. No problem, I can donate the short one. Well made with lots of extras.

I had to replace 4 strike plates and these all fit in perfectly. Easy to install as well.

This kit is great. Everything is included to fix a non-catching door latch. I used several parts for my bathroom door and now the latch catches and stays closed without issues. The only thing I had to add was wood glue for the dowels in the existing holes, but it may not have been needed. I'm confident this product permanently fixed my door problem.

I changed the lock on my front door and it didn't quite line up with my old one, but the frame was so beaten up, whenever I tried to put a new plate in, it shifted over to the old holes. I put wood glue on the dowels and tapped them in to the old holes, waited for them to dry, chiseled out a slightly lower spot for the plate, shimmed it out with the TWO included shims, and put the new plate on with the nice long screws they include, and boom... locked. Someday I'll replace the door but for now, this little kit worked really well. It didnt' come with any instructions so I had to sort of assume what the dowels were for... but they DID work the way I used them!

Good for a quick DIY to fix a door that is not latching properly. Comes with two stoppers and wooden pegs to help repair the door.
