I put six of these down my driveway. Every one of them arrived in perfect condition with no scratches or dents. If you go to lowes or home depot you will pay 2 to 3 times the price for the same exact post only with no power outlet. So you get less for more money. I made the mistake of purchasing the first one from lowes. Use at least an 80lb bag of concrete and these posts are unmovable. Very pleased with this purchase.

The posts fit exactly into a 3" PVC pipe, which I put into a concrete form. It made snaking wires a lot easier.The cross arms broke after 3 months. They're cheap PVC. I plan on replacing with black iron pipe to hang bird feeders.

Easy to install, sturdy post. My only complaint, and it’s relatively minor, is that the wire leads from the convenience outlet are too short and make installation trickier than necessary. I was going to deduct a half star because the cross arms are plastic versus metal from older models …. but, frankly, once installed you really cannot tell

This base holds the post very well. You can wobble the post but there is no danger of it falling over. The base has withstood several very windy thunderstorms, even with two baskets of flowers hanging of the post.If the wobble becomes a problem, I will drill a small hole through the base and pole and insert a self-tapping screw.

I received the first post fairly fast. Unfortunately, it was scratched and dented. I opened a ticket and even before returning that post, I received the replacement.I was wondering how to install it. Instructions are provided with the post. It was pretty easy. It stands out in the garden with that pretty lantern also bought on Amazon.
