There is a drip trough at back of griddle top that food falls into when cooking abd it is hard to clean. It would be nicer to have a solid flat surface for cooking.

Fits base and cover. I like the grease trough in the rear. Do have to heat it up slower and need a bit higher flame to get usual cooking temp.

Could never keep the rust off the OEM grill plate. This one is almost maintenance free.

Ordered this replacement cover for my 22inch Blackstone and was excited for its arrival, however, when it arrived it was apparent someone had tried using it before, and not gently. There were markings all over the bottom where it looked like someone had taken a grinder to it and scuffed it. The plastic wrapping it came in was already ripped and the top soiled with some residue/stains which clearly indicates it had already been cooked on and someone tried to clean it a bit. Hoping the replacement I get is in better condition. You do not want a used cooktop when you are paying for new

Love this griddle replacement. So much easier to keep clean than the original.

Just received the stainless steel replacement griddle for my rusted-out Blackstone Adventurer 22’ griddle. Pretty solid fit for the base and the lid. Yee be warned, may be some sharp edges so I would recommend using some gloves when handling. Looking forward to seasoning and cooking with this bad boy and sharing an update.

UPDATE: Original review below. When I first got this the pegs were just a hair too narrow and I couldn’t get it to just drop into my existing grill. So I took a round file to the grill and took off about 1/16 of an inch on the inside of all four holes and with some gentle persuasion it finally fit, and it’s in there pretty snug. There were zero instructions on how to install it. It comes with nuts that thread onto the feet. I used these all the way snugged up on the pegs and they are the ‘platform’ that sits on the grill frame. I may add some nuts underneath to more permanently attach it but for now it’s pretty snug.Once we got over that excitement, as a cooking surface, stainless steel is hard to beat. The instructions call for seasoning just like you’d do a rolled steel top- I didn’t do that. I don’t think seasoning sticks very well to stainless. I couldn’t find any other stainless cookware that recommended seasoning. I did use the onion/hot oil trick to try and get a little coating on it. But basically, for stainless, just make sure it’s hot before you put food on it (the pores actually close up when hot) and you HAVE TO USE OIL of some sort, or butter. But last night we did a light coat of oil, then a pound of bacon on medium heat, then a little butter, and then eggs on low heat, and everything cooked perfectly, zero sticking, and super easy cleanup. So I highly recommend this griddle, just be aware the fit might take a little work. It also seemed to cook more evenly than the stock cooktop once it was fully hot. It definitely starts out hot in the middle.Original: I was excited when I saw this. I have a 22” Blackstone Adventure that we really enjoy, we use it at home and camping but even with my best efforts to season it over and over again it gets rust spots if we don’t use it for several days. I thought this would be a perfect solution for that- but the pegs for the “feet” that are supposed to go into the holes on the grill frame are just a hair too wide. I’m going to have to drill out the holes in the frame to make them bigger so they will fit. Otherwise it seems to be well made. It’s very slightly magnetic, so probably 400 series stainless, so it will still require some care to avoid rust but hopefully more rust resistant than OEM the cold rolled steel. The included instructions say to season it just like a regular steel griddle which surprised me. I guess I could give it a shot and season it and see how it holds up. I’ll update the review if/when I can get it installed on my grill and use it.
