**Review: Sub-Standard Stamp Holder**Back in the day, the US Post Office offered a high-quality item specifically designed to hold and dispense a roll of 100 standard-sized US postage stamps. Unfortunately, the product in this review falls far short of that standard.The holder is made from inferior plastic, lacking the sturdiness needed to perform its basic function. It is flimsy and does not provide adequate space to hold a roll of 100 standard-sized stamps. The dispensing mechanism is also poorly designed, making it nearly impossible to freely dispense stamps due to the limited space.Final Thought: Avoid the aggravation and seek out a more suitable option to hold and dispense your postage stamps. This product is simply not fit for the purpose it was designed for.A note to the manufacturer: Back to the drawing board!

There's not too much to like or dislike about a simple stamp dispenser, yet this one manages to fall short. The slot through which the stamps dispense is too narrow for standard USA Forever stamps. I ended up using a sharp blade to widen the slot on each side which allows stamps to properly dispense. Not a perfect solution, but it wasn't worth returning and I needed to replace the old dispenser that broke after many years. With my modification, it works OK. Maybe other stamps are narrower? Don't know, I always buy the same style and they didn't fit without modifying the dispenser, just be aware.

Never really had a need for a stamp dispenser so my experience is limited here. From an absolute first timer, here are my thoughts. Functional yes, absolutely serves its purpose. I found it hard to load, it seemed too small to take the roll and I wound it tight. Once the roll was it, it kept wanting to unwind making it somewhat aggravating to piece back together. For that reason it has hard to pull the stamps out while the roll was new. Once it got smaller, use became easier. Great for regular use is my thought, but if I was churning through stamps on the daily, I would spend a bit more and upgrade.For the way I use it, I would buy it again....no need for me to have something industrial and this is not.
