Wrong measurements in the photos. States it's 7.73" from front of the plate to the back of the stake pocket. Looked shorter so I measured it and it's only 6". I know it doesn't seem like much but 1¾" effects me using the mount have to weld some stuff up. Either fix the product or fix the listing.

Ended up adding an extra pocket on my trailer just for this. Spare sticks out maybe an inch farther than my tires. Fit my 8x6.5 lug rim fine. I'm happy with it so far.

This tire carrier fit the stake pocket perfectly and the two-bolt sys. really locked it in!! Very solid and strong.

Purchased a new trailer that didn’t have a tire mount for the spare. This mount was easy to install and keeps the spare safe and secure.

This seems to be made well. However it will need some modifications for my trailer and possibly yours too. It extends to far past the stake pocket and will not tighten all the way. In fact it just flops it's so loose. Welding is an option but not sure if I want to permanently attach it to my trailer. Once I decide I'll write an update with some pics maybe. Again seems ok just probably needs to shorten the shaft that goes in the stake pocket.

It fits the stake pockets with a lot of slack. There is about 1/8” gap between the trailer and bracket. This causes the mount to sit at an angle due to the design. Granted, you can tighten the bolt and secure it, but there is no way to have this sit even with the trailer. Overtightening the bolt will cause the lower flange to bend. Either a stop needs to be welded below the angle support to have this sit level in the stake pocket, or a shim needs to be between the bracket and trailer. For the price, it is worth it as the name brand tire mounts are twice as much.

Replaced the flat bar with a piece of angle iron, ran the bolt down from the top, spot welded, used a nylock nut. NOW it stays put.
