If you've been using a cheap baster from the local buy everything store then you're in for a treat. This baster is such a huge upgrade compared to that garbage I have been limping by on for years. It's substantial, has an injection needle, and is easy to use and care for. Give that old toy to your toddler to play kitchen with and but some grown up tools.

Several reviewers mentioned they did not receive the brush and injection needles for flavor. They are shipped/stored in the metal part of the baster. Take off the rubber bulb and you may find them inside.

Finally . . . a metal baster! The plastic ones don’t hold up. Like the accessories, too, especially the brush.

Solidly made, comes with cleaning brush and adapters for injection. Wish it were made in the USA and not China.

Really good baster. I had to buy this because my previous plastic and glass ones both broke during use. This steel baster is easy to clean (comes with a little brush) and will not break with high temps!! I will trade being able to see how much is suctioned up (like with clear ones) with how unbreakable this is.

I’m so in love with this baster!! I have used the plastic type for years and they never last because they just melt. This is easy to clean, sucks up great, and even comes with needles so you can pump juice into your meats.

I love that I can use this for sucking up water from the bottom of a planter then wash it vigorously without fear of breaking anything and use it for basting without fear of introducing BPAs. If you need to see an exact measurement of the contents this is not the master for you, but great for everything else. Appreciate the cleaning tool and injection tips too.
