I have been doing a lot more baking recently, so I wanted another mixing bowl. I hate having to stop and wash and dry a bowl, as you need to do sometimes., so another bowl was the perfect solution. I didn’t want to pay over fifty dollars for the Kitchen Aid bowl, so I ordered this one. It’s shiny, beautiful, sturdy, and fits my 4.5 quart mixer perfectly. If you need another bowl, don’t hesitate to buy this. It was a great buy, and I am highly pleased with my new bowl. I replaced all of my plastic coated attachments with sturdy, less expensive stainless steel dupes, so buying this bowl was a no brainer. I seriously am considering buying another one. Multiple bowls will be very handy during the holidays. Three might be a little excessive, but it’s never a bad thing to have more mixing bowls, even for things that don’t require a mixer.

My original kitchen aid BRAND mixing bowl for my mixer got bent on the bottom latch parts so I had to purchase a new one. I was a little skeptical about it not being the Kitchen Aid brand but honestly you cannot even tell the difference in my name brand bowl and this one. Great quality. Will definitely be purchasing another one to keep on hand.

I broke my glass mixing bowl so I had to buy this one and the quality, weight, and value for money are excellent.

I have two KitchenAid mixers. One had the standard metal bowl and the other had the artisan glass mixing bowl. A few weeks ago my glass Kitchaid mixing bowl fell and shattered. It was a total disappointment. I use both mixers several times a week, so I immediately got on Amazon to order a replacement bowl, and settled on this one. After using this bowl for a few weeks, through the holidays and large family baking, I have determined that the dimensions must not be the same as a name brand KitchenAid mixing bowl. Instead of my bread dough, cookie batter, pizza dough, etc. getting kneaded or mixed, it is just pressed to the edge of the bowl. I have used both paddles and dough hook with similar results - the dough/batter being moved and pressed to the sides of the bowl instead of being mixed or kneaded. In my first photo, I have scraped down the sides of the bowl several times to get it incorporated - it’s just butter, white sugar brown sugar. You can how it is pressed to the sides of the bowl, and only the very outer layer of cookie dough is being mixed. In the second photo, using the KitchenAid bowl is the same amount of butter and sugars at the same temperature, mixed for less amount time, no scraping the sides, same paddle, and you can see it’s thoroughly mixed and fluffy.

It's nice and durable. It's a little bit higher capacity than the bowl my kitchen-aid came with, which is nice when I'm mixing a large batch of dough.

This a a replacement for the mixing bowl that came with the Kitchenaid Mixer. The bowl is easy to handle and a great fix for the stand mixer. I could not have ask for more and the price was right on mark.
