This product was exactly what I was looking for. I needed a container that would hold a tissue cassette basket with formalin while grossing tissue. First, I tried the cheap route of trying to find a plastic container but the only ones that would fit this basket were too big or deep. Not to mention they didnt look as professional as this metal container. I am more than happy with my purchase.Note: The measurements listed are not true to size. It is a little smaller but still within 1 inch difference. For reference, I measured the bottom of the container.

The actual inside of the pan measurements are closer to 11.25 x 7.5".However, even the EXTERIOR of the pan doesn't measure 12" as advertised. Quality is decent enough, but don't waste my time.

This is a good product for its intended purpose. However, I purchased it for food use, and did not realize the lid lifts very easily for instrument use. So for food use, not recommended purpose, it is more like a serving tray with a temp lid, rather than a lid for pack and go.
