I got these T-rigs to use with dragging weights and monofilament leaders to fish for big catfish in the river. I started by tying on a 50lb mono leader to the swivel, then slipped my 80lb braid through the T, secured a 1oz dragging weight, and pinched a small split shot above the weight to keep the bait at the right distance off the bottom. I tested the brightness of the tube and found it to be eye-catching, but not so bright it might scare fish in highly pressured waters. Great product!
