Egg shell opener is small and easy to use. Being made of plastic, the top & bottom are joined together with thin plastic. With a lot of use, it could break.

Hard boiled eggs became ripped open and shredded and raw eggs had shards of shell peppered throughout them.Hardly the ease of handling eggs device that was promoted. Because I’m a glutton for punishment, we tried this item again and again, egg after egg and now I have an over abundance of egg salad that the family has to finish since we’re not wasting food… and eggs are getting expensive in stores.I just don’t know if I can endure the stares of my family anymore since egg salad smells like farts.The item is made of the flimsiest of thin plastic and the thin metal shell cracker on each half may be just as flimsy as the body of the device. They bend inward and render the egg a messy abomination. Gentle care was used, then more careful increments of exponentially greater pressure was used to ensure operator error was not the fault. Very disappointed.

Buying this egg shell opener was a big mistake! IT DOES NOT WORK! I tried several different ways to do what the sales pitch showed, and all I did was tear open my hard boiled egg! I still had to crack the shell off. Very disapointed.
