How Much and How Often Should You Feed Your Dog?
- Remember — the recommended feeding amounts on the back of your dog's food bag are for the total amount of food each day, not for each meal. Make sure to portion out this amount across your dog's regular meals
It's recommended to feed puppies every 6–8 hours (3 to 4 meals a day). Puppies are more active and therefore need more calories
One main reason for this twice-a-day schedule instead of once-a-day meals, is that stomach acid and bile can build up in your pet’s stomach. If your dog does not eat, they will become nauseated and vomit
Senior dogs need to be fed as often as adult dogs, so at least twice a day. However, senior dogs are fed a smaller amount because they are less active and not burning as many calories

I ended up throwing the dishes out as very soon after I used them the finish (pink) started to chip and continued to chip very dangerous to the dogs!!!! Only used them about 3 times!!!!!

My granddaughter just got a miniature dachshund - 6 ibs! These are the perfect size for feeding and drinking!!

Originally bought the Podinor Stainless Steel Dog Bowls for one of my Shih Tzu, but it did not hold enough water that he drinks. Now using for my other Shih Tzu for her meals.

I read the description and knew they would be small. However, they are very shallow so water spills out carrying it from the sink to her pad. They hold 1/2 cup water or food and made from very lightweight/flimsy material. I kept them for use as an overnight travel set. The color and design are cute and as pictured. Overall okay= 3 stars

If your dog is going to be a bigger dog the small one won't be big enough for long... my pup is 3 months old and these bowls aren't big enough anymore. Probably should have gotten bigger ones. Other than that, the metal bowls are sturdy and cute!
