Wished I had gotten this litter box years ago! It makes cleanup so easy. Because my cat has hyperthyroidism, she is prone to urinating a lot. As such when she does, the previous plastic litter box would make the clumps stick along the sides and getting them out was difficult. The Cattykasa box is a game changer; clumps don’t stick along the sides or bottom, and because it’s a lot larger, both she and her very large brother have plenty of room to move around in the litter box.

This is a very well designed litter box. The stainless steel is excellent as it does not absorb odors and it’s fairly easy to clean. It also looks nice and it was well packaged for shipping so there was no damage when I opened it.The top portion of the box is made of plastic and it is perfect. The sides don’t angle inward which on many boxes reduces the amount of space available inside the box. The top also has a lip all around it that continues all the way down past the stainless steel base on the inside, which means when a cat pees on the side of that plastic portion, it will trickle right back into the box where it belongs instead of ending up outside the box. Many litter boxes have that problem which is a huge design flaw. This is a good box to get if you have a large cat. Funnily enough, the smallest cat in the family was the first to use this box, and it has seen a fair amount of use already. This photo was taken when I had just put the clay litter in with a few pine pellets, which I am transitioning my cats to using. This litter box is HUGE! It is too large for the jumbo Johnny Cat liners that I buy from Amazon so I will need to find some even bigger ones. But I knew this when I purchased the box and I am very happy with it. Some people use stainless steel litter boxes without liners but I prefer to use a liner to make cleanup easier.

I liked the size for a 20 pound cat. However, I couldn’t get the top to latch to the bottom.

This litter box is definitely big! I recently got a Ragdoll kitten and by 5 months old she was a little bigger than my other cat. I needed a box big enough for her. This one is great and even as she gets a little bigger she’ll have room. It’s easy to keep clean and the step out is great for reducing the amount of litter tracked out of her box.

so glad I ordered this, have 9 cats and wanted to try stainless steel since the other ones I have are plastic and litter sticks to the bottom. It really works; no litter sticks to bottom of the stainless-steel litter box and the litter is easy to scoop out.

One of the biggest advantages of this litter box is its extra-large size (28" L x 20" W), making it perfect for big cats or multiple cats. My Maine Coon used to feel cramped in standard-sized litter boxes, often kicking litter out while trying to find a comfortable position. With this XXL stainless steel box, he has plenty of space to move around without making a mess.Unlike plastic litter boxes that trap odors and stain over time, this stainless steel litter box never absorbs odors. No matter how often my cat uses it, it stays fresh and odor-free. The material is also rust-resistant and highly durable, ensuring it lasts for years without warping, cracking, or breaking. The high-sided design is another fantastic feature. My cat has a habit of kicking litter around, but the tall walls help keep everything contained. No more litter mess all over the floor! Additionally, if your cat tends to spray or urinate near the edges, the anti-urine leakage design ensures that nothing seeps out onto the floor—something I struggled with when using plastic litter boxes. One of my favorite things about this litter box is how effortless it is to clean. Unlike plastic, which absorbs stains and smells, stainless steel has a smooth, non-stick surface, making scooping and wiping down a breeze. Urine clumps don’t stick, and I no longer have to deal with scrubbing stains out of plastic corners. A quick rinse with warm water and mild soap keeps it spotless. The included scoop is a great bonus. It’s sturdy and well-designed, making it easy to sift through the litter. I appreciate that it’s made with durability in mind, unlike flimsy scoops that bend or break over time. While stainless steel litter boxes may cost more upfront compared to plastic ones, they pay for themselves in the long run. I no longer have to replace litter boxes every few months due to cracks, odors, or stains. This box is built to last and provides a much more hygienic experience for both me and my cat.The XXL Stainless Steel Cat Litter Box is an absolute must-have for big cat owners or multi-cat households. With its spacious design, high sides, odor resistance, and easy cleaning, it outperforms any plastic litter box I’ve ever used. If you're tired of dealing with smelly, hard-to-clean plastic litter boxes, I highly recommend making the switch to stainless steel. It’s a purchase you (and your cat) won’t regret!

Our 21 year old 14 lb. Cat loves this litter box. We were having a big problem with our cat going outside her litter box! We were going through pee pads 3-4 a day! That is all in the past. This litter box is well constructed and prevents leeks and the cat is able to get in and out easily.Well worth the money.
