After having my first order lost, destroyed, or stolen during shipment (from Great Britain to Oregon), the second one just arrived by express mail. I'm satisfied--with both the instrument, and the response from the shipper. Now all I need is a source that helps me learn the technique and fingering of playing this.

After much debating, I decided to finally purchase a melodica. They had interested me for a long time and after a particularly long day I went ahead and treated myself to one. I'm so glad I bought this one! The melodica is a 32 key model, and while 37 is preferable if you plan to train extensively with this instrument, the 32 key is just fine for a beginner like me. I have experience with other reed instruments and I know that it can be difficult to not damage the instrument by blowing too hard on it while you're first learning, but I haven't had any problems with it thus far. I have owned it for about 6 months now and it has worked like a charm. The sound is rich and it's always in tune. Mind you, I am a very clumsy person, so I have put this poor instrument through a lot. I have stepped on it numerous times, kicked it, dropped heavy things on it, and it's still fine! By no means do I suggest that you put it through such rigorous abuse, but don't let the low price fool you into thinking that this instrument is poor quality. I also love that the melodica included two mouthpieces. Admittedly, it sounds a bit better with the short mouthpiece than it does with the tube, but the tube is most helpful for beginners because it allows for you to see which keys you are pressing, and both still sound pretty good. I purchased the red model and it's nice and shiny and bright, and the print on the top hasn't scratched off. The bag isn't incredible quality, but it has held up, and I like that you can use the straps different ways. As for shipping, it arrived much faster than I expected considering it was shipped from the UK to the US. Overall, this is a fun starter melodica and I give it and the seller a big thumbs up!

I bought this unsure of what to expect but the sound is great! My brother has the more expensive Honher brand 37 key and I could not hear a difference in tone. I love the size and the look of the instrument - it is really cool looking!
