I bought this stand to support a Fender Champion II 25 guitar amplifier. I wanted it off the floor and to a certain minimum height that would allow me easy access to the amp settings from a seated position. Many other amp stands offered on Amazon were either too short, looked too flimsy or put the amplifier at a ridiculously steep angle. I bought this one because it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. It came in a somewhat flimsy box that was in a poor state when I received it. Everything seemed to be OK inside as the pieces were all sealed in their plastic bags. There is no user manual and frankly it doesn't need one as assembly is super simple. First disappointment: The powder coat on several metal pieces was badly scratched due to metal pieces moving in the box and poor packing. It's easy to protect metal pieces from scratches but it does require additional packing which the manufacturer neglected to do. Second disappointment (and more serious): Although the welds are nicely done, the support pieces were not aligned properly before welding. The right piece shown here (photo 1) is the worst offender but the left piece is only marginally better. This is unforgivable in a modern tech factory. This piece should have never left QC. Third disappointment and this one has nothing to do with the manufacturing: The amplifier is small therefore the upper support braces block the power input. This wouldn't be a problem with a taller or larger amplifier I suppose. At this point I seriously thought about returning the whole thing. Fortunately flipping the support brackets is possible and solved the power input issue (photo 5). At worst I could have put a wooden plank underneath the amp just large enough to shift it just a tad sideways enough to clear the power input in the back. Despite my disappointment with quality control it's a very sturdy support and works as it should despite its dinky QC issues. It's not made out of thin gauge steel like some others. It's a lot heftier than what I thought when I looked at it online. I would have returned it for another one of the same company hoping for a perfect "sample" but unfortunately it seems like Amazon is out so I'll keep it. Other amplifier stands I was considering: Fender large amplifier stand (unfortunately no mention of detailed height or width specs on Fender's site nor anywhere else) I was also considering the Boss BAS-1 but it seems too low for my needs and I have no idea if that back cross brace would block the power input as well.

I play several gigs a week in different venues and like my speaker off the floor and angled toward my ear. This stand is compact yet sturdy. Goes where I go.

Bought this for an Aguilar 2x12 cabinet. Cab is relatively light, maybe 50 pounds, and this stand works well for it. You will lose some bass response by having any cabinet up in the air, but that's with any stand. I run my bass DI into the board anyway, so the cab is more of a monitor for me, and the height and the angle mean I don't need to run it as loud in a live environment. Would recommend.

Bought this to get my peavy 400 up off the floor where it needs to be. Don’t know exactly what this amp weighs but it’s heavy & this stand has no problem holding it very sturdy & stable. Would definitely recommend. I’m using the lowest setting which brings my amp up to eye level but I’m sitting down since I play steel guitar. Love it , what more can be said.
