This unit is fun, and plenty bright enough - even in a fairly well lit room, it was easily visible. It provides a variety of patterns, and you can adjust the speed and color. In my testing, however, I found the controls and operation to be somewhat baffling. The manual is useless - all it does is show the remote buttons - which are already labeled on the remote - and the lights on the unit in various languages. No indication of how to use it. I could turn it on easily enough, but figuring out how to do more with it than show the default pattern was confusing to me.For example, there are three buttons that appear to deal with sound, presumably responding to sound: DJ sound (labeled as sound strobe in the manual), lyricism Sound, and Dynamic sound. In my testing, only Lyricism Sound actually did anything useful - pushing either of the other two just resulted in the lights turning off. Maybe my music wasn't loud enough?Overall, this is still a fun gadget - and if you can figure out the controls, it has the potential to be even more fun. For me, however, I couldn't figure out how to use half of it, which makes it hard to recommend.

Featuring two whole "pages" of documentation(ish), this product excels at being functionally worthless. It's got about 20 minutes of "dazzle" factor before you're like "is that all it does?" The answer is YES, THAT'S ALL IT DOES! I'm not even sure a cat would be fascinated by this for more than about 5 minutes."9 eyes" refers to the emitters on the face of the unit. The three top-most ports are just RGBW LED's to provide ambient lighting. Inside the unit there are two separate red lasers, 1 blue and 1 green laser that get split by prisms internally, then emitted through 3 different motor-driven plastic wheels with different patterns etched on the wheels (see pictures). The wheels slowly rotate, changing the emitted laser pattern.... but about the only thing you can actually adjust is how fast those RGBW LEDs flash, and how the unit behaves for sound-sensitivity. Trying to sort-out what the "menu" and "up" buttons do on the back of the unit is comical - feels like it should be some kind of interview question for a software tester. The chassis is littered with holes, and over time, dust and dog hair's going to get inside this gadget and futz-up the wheels and lasers. It's just cheap and trashy - and not worth anywhere near $80.Have a look at the pictures. What inside this thing is actually worth $80? At least the power supply has a fuse since it isn't ETL or UL-certified.Like most trashy Chinese electronics, the MCU part number inside has been washed so you can't easily ID the chip or make modifications. I hate this kind of trash and wish our government would levy a 200% tariff on products that obfuscate or obliterate internal part markings like this. No, I can't recommend this product. The documentation is irritatingly absent, and the design is boring and massively overpriced for it does.

The lasers are bright and generally overpower the LEDs that will only have an effect at short distances in a dark room. Needs to be loud for the sound activated modes to work and only two modes are available from the confusing remote control. There a two 4-way rocker switches at the back which may provide different functionality than the remote but it is not documented. Not unreasonably priced for a six beam party laser that includes 2 blue beams but I've other lights I like better for less.

This is a pretty cool laser light show for the price.I've used it as-is quite a few times and it's been enjoyable. It throws the laser about 50 yards up my driveway, so it has decent power to it.I have not gotten into a lot of customization, however. I just hit the bottom left RGB button and let it go.I don't know how creative you can get with it, so I can't comment on it.It's a cool light to have in your arsenal, if you're into that sort of thing.

A little smaller than expected, but that doesn't really matter. It's made well enough, no glaring problems with fit and finish. It operates as it should, you have all your typical functions via the remote. More more colors and color combinations and blinking patterns then you could ever want or need.. great for a small stage setup, and really you're limited only by your imagination. I left it on in my studio for about a half hour came back and checked and couldn't detect any heat from the unit, so that's a good thing. A lot of fun, recommended if you're in the market!

This laser light is not pro grade but highly effective and fun. The manual is not helpful at all and the remote buttons are so random. I have no idea how to truly use the remote other than just push buttons until I find a setting that I like. I ordered this for use with my husband's band and creating fun laser light patterns while they're performing. It creates a lively and fun atmosphere that looks great on stage. This laser light would also be fun for parties and events. I would like to get a few more in the future. At the time of this review, the price is $89, which is a little on the high side for what it does.
