These sensors work great. I now can monitor freezers to ensure that the power is always on and I won't lose anything. These are very easy to setup and install. I highly recommend.

The phone app makes things even more efficient! Bought these to monitor the temperature inside my refrigerator as the internal temp was all over the place (thermostat was going out). Was able to monitor different areas within the fridge & top freezer. Once I replaced the thermostat, these things aided in setting the temperature (since all the fridge's temp setting shows is 1 thru 9). These things (one on top shelf, one on bottom) allowed me to figure out and fine tune what the internal temp should be. Everything is working fine now and I still have them in the fridge. Plus, it registers temp changes when the door is opened and closed (so, I know when the door is opened and if someone is standing with the door ajar)!

My friend posted on FaceBook that his freezer quit, he didn't access it until it was too late and he lost everything in the freezer. $500 worth of meat and other frozen foods.I took this as a hint, did some research and settled on this product.I have 3 freezers: one in the basement, one on the first floor and one in the kitchen on the second floor.I put the base station approximately in the center of all three.PROS: the app is great. It's easy to set the trip points. The alarm function works well and alerts me when it gets too warm and again when it's out of danger. The sensors / transmitters are battery operated (rechargeable). I was a little concerned about battery life, but after three weeks one is at 95% and the other two at 100%. I'm not sure how accurate the capacity meter is but it appears the charge life is very reasonable. During the initial 3 week evaluation period we had a 12 hour power outage. My wifi was out until I got a generator going. The generator isn't of sufficient capacity I could power on all three freezers continuously but I could monitor their temperature with no power to them. The temperature rise was acceptable (around 5 degrees in 12 hours). My ability to monitor their temperature during the power outage was a lifesaver.CONS: the transmitter has a jack for the probe and is typically attached to the outside of the freezer / refrigerator with double sided tape. After three weeks, one of them is already falling off. I may have to hot glue some magnets to it to keep it attached. The second concern is the location of the base station. I haven't found a spot where all three sensors are received without a "weak signal" notification from at least one of them. They work as is. A larger house or one that is more spread out might not work at all.I am pleased with the performance. It's also interesting to observe the temperature fluctuations on the two newer freezers. The 30 year old freezer is not 'frost free' so the temp is pretty constant. The 'frost free' freezers oscillate which seems to work pretty well to eliminate frost. For three freezers I purchased the two sensor kit plus base station and a third sensor. This was a good investment with good results.

We recently lost the compressor in a 2 year old refrigerator (with subsequent loss of about $200 worth of frozen items) and decided that we needed some way to monitor our freezers. The initial product includes a hub with two temperature monitor/transceivers which meets our initial requirement for a refrigerator/freezer and a chest freezer in our garage (looking to add a third for our refrigerator/freezer in the kitchen). The equipment installation was very simple, the programming/setup was a bit more involved. I'd recommend being a little bit tech/program oriented but with a little patience you can work your way through it. My hub is about 50 feet away with three walls (wallboard/timber studs) between to reach our freezers. So far the signal levels I'm showing are in the 18 to 25 percent level which was a bit of concern. However, so far, that's not a problem. I'm receiving information from the freezers without any issues. I've been using the equipment for about a week now and all is good. I intend to "defrost" my chest freezer soon which should give a good idea as to how well the alarm works. I'll update this review in a month with how the alarm process worked (set to go off at the 32 degree mark) and with the longevity of the system to date.😊 Update - my wife elected to defrost our LG freezer and not tell me. I received three alerts, one to my cell phone, one via E-mail and when I got home found the Hub "beeping" as the third alert. So for us, the system is working, hopefully it will continue to do so going forward. One minor issue is that I had to "power off/on" the hub to get it to reconnect to the sensors. Not sure why this occurred or if this is the result of some other event, i.e., power loss to the house (happens frequently in Florida) of something else. Will update this review if it occurs again. All I have to do now is to bring my wife up to speed on just what happens when these alerts occur. She thought that the hub "beeping" was some kind of insect that had found it's way into the house.
