Looked at more expensive rails and many companies charge a lot for shipping. This rail is beautiful, and fits in current pool rail anchors. Bought the covers for a finished look. Good value for artisan rail

Very nice quality handrail for my recently renovated pool. The concrete contractor grounded the brass sockets the handrail fits into (which are embedded in the concrete). I’m not an expert, but know that grounding a metal handrail is vital to safety!I took my handrail to a local welding shop to have the back end shortened by about 8” because I am getting an Alukov telescoping enclosure over my pool and need more space for people walking on the deck inside the enclosure when closed to move past the handrail. The shop removed the two welds holding the end cap on, cut the tube and re-welded the original end cap - for $60. Looks great!

We purchased this in May of last year, we have a saltwater pool and the attachment on the end is rusting. I purchased what I thought was the best stainless steel rail available. Our other rail from SR Smith lasted for 22 years. I am adding this as an additional caution, my rail does not have a serial # on it, could be a bogus company. I registered it when I purchased it. Do not buy this.

We purchased this product because of the design and SR Smith is supposed to be the best. The item arrived in the worst packaging you could imagine. There was no padding around the railing and the box was as flimsy as could be. The railing had dents in it and one of the end caps was missing. The railing appeared to be well designed but we are returning this one and will not purchase another.

As a 71 year old person with multiple orthopedic issues that required me to install a rail so I could get out of the pool more easily. The rail arrived a couple of days early and in perfect shape. I hired a guy who's done many pool rail installs. He pounded aluminum plugs into the bottom real ends to add stability. He drilled the holes and installed the anchors and fit the rail. This pool wasn't designed with a hand rail in mind. We decided to install it off center. Looks great, very stable, and I'm able to enjoy my pool!

We have in ground spa attached to pool. The edge of the spa rises about 2 feet above pool deck. My wife and I are 70 and I have serious back injury. This rail was the only rail found that would work giving us stability to enter into the spa. Regular rails would not breach the 2 foot height after installation. Rail was insalled by pool profeeional. Very sturdy and the finish seems to be holding up. I'm happy with this purchase though I winched a little at the cost.

I wanted something special for our pool. As we age, we needed a little assist to safely enter and exit our pool. Esthetics are important to my design. I searched all over and this fit the bill. Yes it was costly, and installation was costly, but it looks beautiful and is very sturdy. We upgraded to the marine finish, so it should last forever.

This handrail is just as ordered, the the most economical one out there but certainly in a league of it's own. Like a piece of artwork, getting rave reviews from those that see it!
