I got these for a friend's cat that has low vision due to a birth defect. He loves them! The light attracts him, and he chases them around the floor. He finally has a toy he plays with!

Not even joking. My cat doesn't care, but there have been a handful of nights where one of these have gone off on their own a whole bunch for no reason. So I figure there's a ghost or something that enjoys being able to make it light up.

I have to say, this is a great kitty to., Quiet, flashy, kept my cats entertained.. they loved them.What I didnt like, is both balls losing power in under 2 wks..I'll buy this product again, but going to make sure to buy ones that are battery operated. These aren't.
