This kit was affordable and my froggy turned out cute! I messed up on the eye placement, they aren’t supposed to be so far apart. I didn’t use the video instructions, only the PDF pattern, as I already know how to crochet. The PDF directions were easy to follow.

This product has directions that are incredibly hard to follow. I was frustrated throughout my entire experience trying to crochet this bird. I am not an expert on yarn like others are, so I cannot comment on that, but as someone who can only crochet a blanket- this is a project I will have to put away for a while..

I thought this could be a fun introduction to crocheting, but the videos just don’t cut it for beginners. I found myself stuck in the middle of projects, going back and forth between their site and the kit. It’s definitely better suited for someone with more experience. Save yourself the frustration and find a different option if you’re just starting out!
