I ordered these caps after I bought a recycled metal container cage made into a hay rack. I worried that the cut ends of the square pipes would scratch the animals. I put these caps into each end (dozens). I pushed each cap in with my thumb then lightly tapped with a hammer to set it securely. It has been a couple of months with no scratches to the animals!

I ordered these plugs for the stackable chairs that I had purchased from our local college... many of the chairs were missing some of the plugs... these worked great! As expected, there is some firm resistance from the ribs to push them in, but not too hard. Once in they are solid. The plastic is not as brittle as the original, so they are less susceptible to breaking if hit... so I expect them to last.They are as described and pictured on Amazon - 5 Stars from me.
