Well it didn’t work so well for me. No sure but I think it was because I have a bench top drill press, just not enough poop. I haven’t given up on it yet.

This Mortising Adapter fits my drill press and bits and mostly does fine. It's mostly fine, but not quite "heavy duty" and it may struggle with lots of torque or bigger bits or lots of vibration. If you need to cut square holes daily, I'd probably spend a little extra for a nicer one, however this one is plenty fine for most hobbyist woodworkers.Overall, I'd give it about a 4.3-star rating on the Amazon Scale.

I ordered this no-frills mortise bit adapter for occasional use with my hammer drill which has the necessary collar this adapter requires.The adapter is held together with just screws and nuts. There are no washers, lock nuts or knobs so you have to use tools to tighten everything. The adapter includes a complete extra set of fasteners so it seems they expect parts to rattle loose and get lost.It's not the most precise tool but it doesn't need to be since it's really just holding the mortise chisel in place.
