The problem I have found with the shorter security bits is that they mount into a bit holder that is too fat to go into the deep hole that security screws are often recessed into. These bits solve that problem nicely. They are also decent quality for the price.

I got as a replacement bits for ones I the Wera bits I messed up using the wrong size for the screw I was tightening. These are very good replacements, they seem to of great quality and workmanship!

I have not had to buy Torx bits for many years. I have over a dozen sets of Mac and Snap-On Torx bits ranging from short socket to 6-inch socket type and T handle. I needed the T7 bit I have that one in the short socket and 1 inch long and 2 inches long sets but the longer sets only go down to T10 and I needed one at least 2 1/2 inches long. This bit set fit the bill worked great and the low-price is nice too. I don't think they will take a lot of abuse but if you used them correctly in line with the screw or bolt they should last a long time or at least many times of use. The magnetic grab is just enough for small screws as long as you don't bump the sides going in to thread them up. I may never use these again but if I do they have paid of themselves, the whole set was cheaper than one of the bits in most of the sets I have. Would be nice if they had a storage case or holder, the bag won't last long with much use then they will be rolling around in the toolbox.
