Not much to say about this tool. Its just a cheaper version of the original tool. The welds that connect the threaded rod to the spring are kind of crappy. They are smaller than they should be and there is uneven penetration. If you only want to use this for light duty stuff around the house, then its probably ok enough but I would not put this in my main toolbox with some mods first.

You don't always need it but man is it handy when you do.This is a clever tool to get that nut deep in the engine bay and get it started. I had not seen one of these before and had to order when I saw it pop up. It is a cool idea and works well. The quality, fit & finish are OK but not spectacular. I would put its build quality on par with HF.I consider it another Win for my toolbox.

This thing is really neat it is a metal arm with a clamp on the end, it can be used for reaching into type places and picking up an item that you can't get your hand to but it's only about 18 inches long it doesn't have but about an inch or so maximum that the clamp can open. Where there's really excels is holding things for you in tight spaces and you got a bolt you've got to put in to an area where there's no way you can fit your hand.. that's where this thing is really going to shine! Everything seems to be produced with quality/quality materials has a good Strong spring it's easy to adjust the clamping end and it's very easy to use / figure out. A very nice little device especially for mechanics but, different projects around the house, and DYI enthusiasts are also going to find a good use for this

Ever tried to install hardware in a blind hole with a whole bunch of ideas thrown together but still fail, repeatedly until you finally get it? Yep, been there countless times. When I came across this contraption, I was like woah…why didn’t I think of this?!Here are my thoughts:The tool arrived quickly and was packaged appropriately for what it is. No formal instructions are included, but the blister packaging has some pictures that illustrate the proper use.It is made out of what appears to be Stainless-Steel. The entire tool looks almost like it would be fragile, but I can without a doubt state that it is solid.Recently used it to replace some JK hood latches, and if you have ever done this job, you already know it is a nightmare due to the inability to get ANYTHING behind the fender to attach the mounting hardware. This made the job SUPER SIMPLE.Highly recommend!

You won’t need one of these often, but when you do it’ll be the only thing that will do what you need doing. I needed one a week ago, but didn’t have one.TL/DR: Get one before you need it. Don’t be me.Showing it holding a bolt or a nut doesn’t really push home what it can do so I used it to pick up a 207 gram (7.5oz) fluted 304 stainless steel bar instead. Now imagine how well it’ll hold a nut or bolt that weighs a few grams. There was an adjustment I had to make because the actual hardware I tested with it didn’t sit flush. I noticed that the thinner of the two jaws was bent away from the thicker jaw. I few seconds with a plier solved that.

My husband says this is his new favorite tool. He's been playing with it since he got it. It's good quality, sturdy. Spring loaded clamp on the end can be locked.

In the past I have struggled with positioned nuts for a bolt to thread into when in tight situations. I had no idea a tool like this existed and I think it is a wonderful design and high quality (from Taiwan). My only complaint was the 404 when scanning the QR Code but from the error message I was able to navigate to the ZOOYL site.

This review is for the ZOOYL Spring-Loaded Extension Clamp. The product includes one extension clamp that arrives in retail packaging made of plastic and cardboard. I intend to retain the retail packaging so I can hang the clamp on a pegboard when it's not in use. This is definitely one of those tools that you don't know you need until, well, you need it. Operation is intuitive: spinning the knob-locking mechanism clockwise allows the jaws to be opened, press down on the top of the knob to open the jaws, insert the object to be held (i.e., nut, bolt, etc.) between the jaws, release the knob to clamp the object in place, and spin the knob counterclockwise to lock the clamp. Not much to critique here: the operation of the clamp is smooth, the spring provides plenty of tension to hold the object in place, and the tool is sturdy.
