The construction of this band is similar to many I've had in the past so no surprises there. It works as it should and seems to be built well with one exception. The top edge of the springform pan has a little a smaller cylindrical ridge that slides into another on the opposite side of its spring form counterpart. During the manufacturing a small portion of that Ridge looks to have been sheared off before rolling. The result of that shearing has left a razor sharp edge that one could easily hurt themselves on when the spring is "open". I ended up having to take some flyers and kind of turn it down and smashed part of the edge to make it safe, that's the four-star rating.

Unfortunately, my wife makes a killer cheesecake, and and I am "stuck" with eating most of it every time she makes one. I mean, somebody has to eat the thing even though its about a zillion calories. About a year or so ago, she grew frustrated with the pan that she had used for years and has bought two since in an attempt to replace it to her liking. She knew this was coming, opened it, and liked it. Its just a hair smaller than another 9 inch one that she has, but not "smaller" enough to worry about. Quality is just fine. It is exactly what one would expect in a cheesecake pan.

Adequate item. Decent price for a pan that I use infrequently

The pan isn't top of the line, but for $10 it's pretty good. The nonstick coating is nice. There are some flaws in the top lip, but nothing that will affect a bake. The latched pan is not water tight, but the latch does open and close easily. I made a cheesecake using a parchment circle and was pleased with the result. It hand washes up nicely. In all, a very usable baking pan.

This is my first time using a springform pan after being apprehensive about potential leaks. But I really wanted to try hand and baking those basque cheesecakes I've seen online and luckily I didn't have an issue with this pan. I really like that it's non-stick as I had no issues sliding it off my bake and it's great that the pan material is carbon steel, as I try to stay away from other metals. It's also lightweight, but not flimsy. This is a good beginner's use for amateur bakers like me.

I love to bake cheesecakes and deep-dish fruit pies and this spring-form pan is great. The pan is very well-constructed and durable. The latch to tighten the pan rim around the base is very easy to operate and definitely stays in place once it is latched. I like the fact that the entire pan in nonstick coated, so there are no areas of crust getting stuck to the sides or bottom of the pan and this makes it easier to clean.

I got this springform pan to replace my previous one. After making a cheesecake, I can't find any faults to complain about. It might be a bit smaller (more like 8.5"aceoss), but still fit a standard recipe just fine. It fits together well with no leaking. Some of the cheesecake stuck to the rim, which I expected - but it cleaned really easily. It's just as good as my prior pan and I'm happy with it.
