Bought it to use at the maximum length and that’s not a good idea. The metal is very thin and flimsy. Probably okay if it’s not extended too far.

When I placed my first order for the curtain rod I was sent a sliding door security rod. The second order the rod came and was bent beyond use. I didn't try a third time. I have always had excellent results from orders I have placed. I'm not sure why this particular order didn't work out.
