I've had these split boxes for about a year now and they are holding up well. My mattress feels well supported and doesn't slip and slid all over. My only complaint, and suggestion, is that it needs more grip on the bottom so it doesn't slide on a metal bedframe. Besides that it's "good soup."

So brought this item and brought a mattress to place on top. We thought it was the mattress that sucked. So finally today, we had time and proceeded to start wrapping the mattress for return, turns out it was not the mattress dipping BUT the boxspring that separated from the wood. Of course the return window is closed and so I am out the almost $200 that I paid to purchase this. SMH.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!I am attaching photos but it may be hard to see because the boxspring is still in its original plastic.Now, I have to spend ANOTHER $200+ to buy ANOTHER boxspring! Never again!!

I wanted to lower my bed and had to have split box springs because of the wood beam that runs down the center of my bed. I didn't even know these existed but searched to see and was pleasantly surprised. This was exactly what I needed and wish I'd lowered it years ago. I no longer have to run, jump, climb into bed. These were delivered fast by a large freight delivery service and the driver was amazing. They are lightweight enough, I had no trouble installing myself.

The wooden box springs seem old school but they are perfect. Even the old school delivery and setup was a reminder of back then. Great service
