I always gravitate towards this brand of bear spray and the only thing that would make it better, would be if it was paired with the correct holster.The one it comes with is kind of flimsy...which is fine because I have a high quality holster that also happens to have an attached alarm.I would HIGHLY recommend using this product with a better holster (like the ADS Bearspray Holster) because at the end of the day, your life depends on it. You should use the best of the best to improve mitigate your risks as much as possible.It would be a dream come true if the best bear spray was coupled with the best holster on the market!!!

It is very important to know the difference between pepper spray and pepper gel because there are key differences in how each is deployed and for what purpose.Pepper gel shoots a concentrated stream that sticks to a specific target and continues to irritate eyes and nose, while pepper spray creates a wide cloud that blinds the eyes but primarily irritates the lungs and forces heavy coughing.If pepper gel is best to be used on a specific target, pepper spray is best used to create a highly irritating cloud to put between yourself and what you want to stay away from you.It is very important to keep in mind that while pepper gel shots a concentrated stream that's not as effected by environmental factors, pepper spray can be heavily effected by wind, and if not careful the irritating cloud can be quickly blown back in your direction.This product is pepper spray, and it's a very well made product from a quality brand. Each canister comes with its own holster that can mounted on a belt for personal carry, but given the size of the canister, it's more suited to be mount in a vehicle.The advertised 30 foot fog dispersion pattern is very well suited for preventing bear attacks as the purpose is not to irritate the bear, but to disorient it so it'll lose interest in attacking.This product is very well throughout and very well made, it's a pro level dual-pack kit that can be relied upon, highly recommended.
