I used these to wash a spot on my wall, if I had tall plants I'd probably put them behind them to brighten them at night. Very simple, I use the remote only and had no issue with them. They're very light in weight so mounting should be simple.I couldn't get the hang of the timer and sometimes they'd turn on when I didn't expect but that's my fault. I like the dimming and warmth options, I find them to cover a good range.

These are nice LED spot lights. Since they are LED they stay nice and cool so curious dog noses don’t get singed (yeowch!). They sit nicely on the floor and have long enough cables (with a switch in the line!) to plug in and still spot the art I want lit up. They also have different lighting temperatures so you can get just the proper hue on your art de objects. They cast a nice light too—they have a better optical lens than others I’ve used. They are also a nice smaller size so you don’t have some monolithic can on the floor. I really like the remote control so I don’t have to get on the floor or behind furniture to fiddle with these lights. They are dimmable too and can be put on a timer, so you can set it and forget it. Plug them in, set them up, point them where you like, adjust the lighting temp and then use the remote from there on—fabulous! They come with good instructions and bolts in case you want to mount them on the wall (mine sit on the floor with no prob). Overall a great set of lights at a good price for what they are (all metal construction, weighted, etc.).

I am setting up a very basic home studio and wanted some additional cheap spot lighting. I ordered these and here are my thoughts.What You Get:- Two 8W LED corded adjustable indoor spotlights.- RF Remote control- Basic screws / drywall anchors for wall or ceiling mounting.Pros:- Attractive. There were several options for this type of product, but this one is clean, unobtrusive, and classic. I like the flat black, and other than the unavoidable power cord, these are very attractive.- Flexible mounting / aiming options. These lamps can simply be placed flat on mantle or any other flat surface, or they can be mounted on a wall or ceiling using the included aluminum mounting rings, which are otherwise neatly hidden inside the base of the lights. The lights themselves can also be tilted in their mount to aim the direction of the spotlight.- Flexible lighting options. Both the color temperature and the brightness is fully adjustable. The remote has instant default settings for three color temperatures (3000K, 4000K, or 6000K,) but both the color temperature and brightness can be adjusted using the remote. (The default settings are the full brightness in each color temp, but they can be dimmed.) In addition there is a "night mode" setting which appears to the the middle color temp (4000K) at the lowest brightness setting. Lastly, the remote includes a timer setting allowing the lights to be set on for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours automatically.- LEDs keep the lights cool to the touch but still provide ample brightness (700 lumens.)- Remote control. While the main power rocker switch is inline in the power cord, the included remote can be used to turn these lights on and off, and is the only way to adjust the color temp, brightness, and timer settings. FYI, the remote / lamps do remember the last lighting setting when turned off, so they will turn back on at the same setting when powered back on, but only if turned off using the remote. (Powering off with the inline switch resets the light's settings.)Cons:- The main power switch is embedded inline about 28" down in the approximately 5' long power cord. So if you want to mount these on the wall or ceiling, and wish to hide the cord in the wall, you will have to either rewire these entirely, or live with the main switch being buried in the wall. It would have been a much better design choice to put a small rocker switch in the base of the lamps themselves. This is an unfortunate design "miss" by the manufacturer in an otherwise well designed product.- The lit area is not width-adjustable or focus-able. The only way to adjust what area is covered by the spot is to move the lamps themselves.- The remote cannot control the lamps separately. They are effectively locked together in operation. This is not a serious defect, as it would be unlikely to want different settings for each lamp, but keep this in mind if you have that need.- The brief instruction sheet has a few of the buttons mislabeled, and some basic misspellings ("Kevin" instead of "Kelvin"), fairly typical of many Chinese-made products. The markings on the remote itself, however, are correct.These are great little indoor spotlights for highlighting art, or just adding some dramatic light to walls and interior spaces. I am hopeful they will work to add sufficient extra light in my setup to act as simple studio lights.

Wanted to get some nice additional lighting for my family room and got these lights since it has remote control. These lights works well and highlight whatever you want to accented with the directional light. I like that you can adjust the color of the light, and the option of adjusting the lighting hour.I think the pricing is expensive for 2 lights, even with the promo discount. The remote is not that intuitive on some of the buttons.

These uplights are so so nice. You can adjust the brightness as well as the warmth of the light. Nice range of each and works really well. It has an approximate 6 foot cord with a power switch in the middle. It also comes with a remote that has four timer settings on it, and you can also adjust the brightness and warmth by the remote.I’ve been wanting up lights for years. I don’t know what took me so long. These make such a difference in the ambience of the room. You can spotlight a photo or art or whatever you wish. These also come with hardware if you want to mount them on a wall, or they can just sit on the floor or on another surface. It gets a little warm to touch after it’s been on a while, but not hot. They come with instructions. They’re nice and small, too, so you can conceal them easily. Lightweight as well.Very nice. I recommend them.

GOOD QUALITY!

These are very nice little adjustable spot/uplights. They are solidly made and very stable on their bases. Great for blowing out the corners of a room or back/uplighting houseplants. This set has better color temperature adjustability than some and I appreciate the ability to cozy up a room by adding a deeper golden glow, particularly with the onset of cooler weather. The timer functions are convenient and the remote is simple to use. These lights are exactly what I wanted. Recommended!
