The descriptions claim there is a "candle" and warm white setting. I tried all the color temperatures, and there was nothing close to a warm white or even soft white (e.g. 2700 kelvin). The "warmest" color they had was closer to 4000 kelvin, and it went up from there to 500k, and 6500k.Not very relaxing or pleasant for a living room. Better suited for an extremely bright application.

I've had these lights placed in my living room for a week or so. I have them hooked up to Alexa via a smart plug and set to our preferred brightness and mode. Easy peasy as now I don't have to touch the remote. They look fine although ours are hidden. Be aware of the wattage--they are not very bright, but the pictures in the product description are pretty accurate. We got these to provide an evening indirect light source and they're good for that. The legs are a bit close and the light is top heavy, so a slight tug on the cord pulls it over. Ours are set securely out of the way, but one of them shares an outlet with other cords and sometimes the box all the cords are tucked into gets bumped and the light tips over (this can be fixed various ways but can be annoying).There is no switch or adjustment of any kind on the light itself. You are entirely dependent on the remote and one of ours is not super responsive--I have to sometimes press a couple of times or get close and aim the remote directly at the light to get it to work properly. If you lose the remote, you're done. Also, I find the light quality options to be nice, though we leave ours on one setting; but the option that sets the light to on-and-off with variable speeds from barely undulating to blinking is a bit much and seems like just one more thing to fail on an already cheap remote.We like these and consider the quality of the light vs. the price to be a fair value. The remotes and lack of manual settings on the lights t one the weakness in the kit.

I was surprised how heavy duty these were. They are very pretty and I like the black and gold design, however I wished they tilted a little. It only stands straight up and I originally got the to place by my house plants to give off light but when placed in front of them it looks weird and it gives no effect, but when in back of them, even though the lighting/shadow is good, you can’t see the base and what’s the purpose of having a really pretty spot light that can’t be seen. It could be just me but that is the reason I got these. Otherwise any cheap spotlight would have worked out fine. I ended up giving them to my daughter to use in her room and she likes it a lot.

These lights were a great little surprise! This is a set of 2 uplights, each comes with its own remote which changes light temp (warm to cool) and brightness as well as a timer.The lights come fully assembled, just unwrap the cord and plug in and voila! They are heavy and well made with a metal body and gold metal legs. The feet are protected (or protect your floor I should say) with little silicone tips.I put one in a corner behind a chair that I have been debating adding a large lamp or a fake plant for years now. Now I'm decided that a plant will be perfect back there with the uplight to light it. It adds soft lighting against a wall/ceiling so you aren't sitting in the complete dark without using the "big" lights in your home. I've always been one who likes lights but can never find lamps that I actually like, so being able to have a beautiful light without having to match a lamp to your decor is great. They are pretty enough that I wouldn't mind them being visible either.I took a few photos in the evening with different light settings to hopefully see the difference. I'm sitting in the chair now typing this review and the light is just perfect in my living room.
