I do a lot of home cooking - stovetop and oven. I absolutely hate trying to find a home for hot, wet, drippy lids while I'm adding something to a pot or stirring it. My sink is opposite the stove and I end up dripping condensation on the floor. This little device handles hot and dripping pot lids just beautifully -- HOWEVER -- I have learned that the large lids are too big for it. It will hold a lid for a dutch oven but not for a 12-14 inch frying pan. That said, I'm literally using it every day.

Reasonably priced for a high-functional item. It holds heavy glass cover when correctly positioned (as instructed) and stores nicely. It does not slip on my glass induction stove.Only downside is it’s not “pretty” like a ceramic based spoon holder. That’s a feature irrelevant for me.

I got this because I liked the fact that it folded up, and included a spoon rest. For the roughly 7 bucks it cost I think it's a nice item, and I like the fact that it folds up and takes almost no space when not in use (I have a small kitchen). I use it with a roughly 8" diameter glass lid and it works well. However, while I can use it for my 12" diameter aluminum lid it's a bit iffy, and only works because the lid is aluminum and isn't too heavy. This is not a product for heavy lids such as on a cast iron pot.The only downside is that it's not very sturdy or heavy, and one has to be somewhat careful with it. However, I'm not knocking it down in the review because I wanted something that wouldn't take up much space and I like the fact that it folds up so nicely and I knew what I was getting when I ordered it.I wish that the makers of this would have made it a bit sturdier and charged a bit more for that, but for the price it's a good deal.
