These are great, sturdy brushes. I use them to clean out 1/2" diameter holes drilled into limestone. They are very durable and while I got a pack of 12 I'm still using the first one after close to 100 holes. Note that the bristles are not soft at all. If you were to rub the brush vigorously against your skin it would cause scratches that could bleed (so don't do this). Finally notice that there are no bristles at the very end, so it won't brush anything at the tip of whatever you're cleaning.
