I'm using these to attach a 1/2 and 3/4 socket to my small hand drill for use in my camper to put the chocks and jacks up and down. Since my chocks are 1/2 and my jacks are 3/4, I wanted a place to slot both sockets on my drill. These fit the bill perfectly. I used a sharp box cutter to remove just a single holder from the group and stuck one on either side of the drill. They stick well and haven't come loose even after moving the drill in and out of my RV storage dozens of times over vacation.Definitely recommend.

I've used several kinds of bit holders. Most of them are magnet types. This was a simple idea for holding the bits and it works so much better than magnets. Organized, it holds the bits well. Super simple. Awesome.

My philips and torque bits hold in this very well, they don't go anywhere. My 6" kreg sq bit on the other hand falls out constantly unless I set it just right and it still isn't always guranteed to stay. Probably not the holsters fault since it's just that one bit. But that was the point of buying it! so it failed for me on that. But works great for the other bits I use. Adhesive is holding up well so far, I stuck it on and it hasn't budged. I'd buy again.

Leider

Does what it says on the box. Have had no problems with the double-sided tape it uses.Edit: After having these for several months, I dropped my impact driver from a ladder, and one of these broke off, but only because the DeWalt sticker under it came off. The double sided tape they give you with these is unbreakable, and the rubber holds bits really well too.

Super dope product, I love this thing. It seems like the price is a little high but I'll take it for how convenient it makes it for me to switch bits. I used to have to keep a bit case nearby but I do Bathroom remodeling so I am constantly switching bits and you run out of room quickly when you get tools in there so this thing is perfect for keeping bits easily accessible and I never lose them. Only complaint is that the adhesive wore off within about 1.5 months but I do use my impact pretty much all day 6 days a week so I think it's fair. I just siliconed it back to the side of my impact though while I had some down time on the jobsite cause I was going crazy not having it for even a day as my bits get thrown everywhere and I hate getting them out of my pockets. Amazing little tool, would highly recommend.

A great bit holder. Fits my makita impact driver perfectly and the adhesive is very strong, I even struggled to get the backing tape off.

Enthusiastic “Two Thumbs Up” is the initial rating I’m giving the Spider Tool Holster. I will report back if it doesn’t hold up to wear & tear while working. Let’s get the one knock out of the way, the enclosed adhesive just isn’t strong enough. I had to JB Weld it to my drill to make it stay on. But in all honesty I was pretty sure I’d end up having to do that so it wasn’t a surprise. With it properly bonded to my drill, it’s the best bit holder out there, bar none. And I’ve tried a bunch, probably in the double digits at this point. I use 1/2”, 7/16”, 3/8” & 5/16” in a constant rotation and this holder allows me to rapidly swap out those “nut driver tips” when I’m on the move doing my work. Sure beats fumbling through my pockets or any other number of inefficient ways of trying to keep track them while I’m working. Again, the only knock would be for the adhesive which is easily remedied with some epoxy. Also, the durability remains to be seen, but if lasts 12 months or more I would consider it worth it for how much time it saves me while working. Enthusiastic “Two Thumbs Up” on my purchasing scale.***Update***Ok, here I am 13 months or so later and I’m surprised to report that the “Spider” is still alive and working quite well. I had my doubts that the rubber material that the bit holder is made of, would hold up to daily use at my work, but it has passed with flying colors at that. I’ve got the bit holder mounted to a Dewalt drill that’s been out in the elements of the Pacific NW and its endured all the rain, sun and temperature variations that nature could throw at it and it’s still performing as advertised. I really didn’t think it would take the daily wear and tear along with the elements and be able to last more than a few months. Well, it’s been over a year now, and it has no visible defects, it’s not separating from the drill chassis nor is it tearing, either one of those scenarios I felt was sure to happen, but no, tuff little piece of kit here folks. It would appear that the materials these folks selected to make the bit holder out of was the right choice, along with the adhesive. My initial 4 star review has been amended to a full 5 star review. Worth the money, a definite buy. If you need something like this, pull the trigger and purchase this one. I’ve tried multiple brands and styles of but holders and this one wins easily! Spider brand is the only one I’ll be using from here on out!
